Having grown up in Delhi and having served for well over a decade in 69 Battery, the local reserve Artillery unit located in Simcoe, I look forward every day to serving my community in every way that I can – whether that is in in the office, in court or training with the military.
“I love all aspects of litigation, but I am particularly adept at and love legal research, finding the best cases and precedents to support my clients.”
I am avid fan of ancient history – I attained my B.A. in Greek and Roman Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, before choosing to attend the University of Western Ontario for Law School, wanting to be closer to Norfolk, my home (as well wishing for slightly milder winters than those in Ottawa.)
At Western Law, I was active at the Community Legal Services legal aid clinic, developing my litigation skills early on, and regularly appearing in court. Academically, I took a particular liking to employment issues, winning an award for the highest mark among my graduating class in Labour and Employment Law.
Outside of the law or military, I still enjoy history of all types (but especially ancient history), playing board games with friends and family, running, and practicing yoga.
